Population WOW. Saw in the ABC today that Georgia is on track to be the 8th most populated state in the US. Over 10M. And believe it or not in the City of Atlanta proper there are under 500,000 of us.

Saw this artist in Selvedge Magazine. His story is quite amazing. Arthur Bisbo do Rosario was institutionalized for most of his life with mental illness. He is a descendent of slaves and lived in Brazil. He did all kinds of art, and there is a museum of his works. His needlework is truly a Stop By Gem.

KNIT BOMBS to KNIT VIDEOS
Talking about knit bombing at an awesome lunch yesterday at Empire State South with Wade from Son & Sons. Our new producer and creative strategist Michael Gibson mentioned his friend Lauri Faggioni who is a creative wonder. Wade had been to her studio/shop Lake in NY years ago. Small world. And then we started talking about how she is directing videos with Michel Gondry. (And yes, those are knitted and hand sewn props. Wink wink knitting pals) watch this please.
